  • You know - I was there and never saw one spot of blood. I can assure you that I never saw one person flinch. Appeared to not notice when the needle was inserted. As far as I could ascertain anaesthesia was absolute.

  • Well, I am one of the people in the video and what we achieved was truly remarkable. I did not feel a thing, there was no blood and full healing took place within 24 hours. I am one of those people who just looks at a needle and instantly bruises and sometimes left with a permanent mark, but after taking part there is no trace of where that needle has been. I wouldn't hesitate in using hypnosis for anaesthesia in the future.

  • the technique was quite simple and involved taking ourselves into self-hypnosis and giving ourselves various suggestions that would lead us to not feeling any pain when the needle was inserted and to aid healing after. i can say from my own experience that it worked!

  • tbh, thats a small needle going through surface tissue, i have a larger needle than that when i give blood and that doesnt hurt even though it goes much deeper so... show me someone being cut open and ill appreciate it more, not that i dont believe... i know it works just sayin i could do that sans flinching while not tranced

  • I do this ALL THE TIME....it has nothing to do with it....its.....*facepalm*

  • i used to do the same thing all the time, just depends if your hit/are near a big nerve cluster.

95% of your arm can be punctured like that without any real concern-so this doesnt mean shit to me.

  • Hypnosis IS "strong" (powerful). As the subconscious is your reality, whatever it believes or does, becomes your reality.

If you're hypnotized to believe you can't feel pain, you won't feel pain. If you're hypnotized to see dog poop everywhere, you will see dog poop everywhere, and you will not be able to distinguish it from reality.

  • They would bleed if they hit a vein, no matter if they're hypnotized or not.

Just because you are not informed of pain does not mean there won't be damage! Ther will! Don't hypnotize yourself, and then think you can stab yourself.

  • yer thats what i was thinking

  • Yes, the technique is amazing but.. What happened to the gloves and sterile procedures protocol? Have you hear of AIDS?!?

    Unreal...

  • if they hadn't have used hypnosis would their arms be bleeding afterwards

  • i wonder wat happened with the people that the hypnosis didnt work on.lol i bet they were pissed
