"I think you sang it beautifully, you have a beautiful voice but is that song who you think you are?" asked Steven.

Thia's response was, ""I think it suited perfectly with what's going on in the world today. It was 1995, I think it was the best song out of all the choices that I had."

Jennifer also gave her critique saying Thia should also improve and control her vibrato.

"When I first saw you we love the tone and quality of your voice...something very unique for a 15-year-old. It kinda like blew us way. But (your performance tonight), it's a little safe. You have to break out of that and I hear you have a vibrato, I'm not sure if its nervousness or the quality of your vibrato, either way I don't wanna think about that so it feels like that it needs a little bit of working on too so push out of the box, work on the vibrato and then come out next week and kill it," said Jennifer.
