Ok so there's been some comments about G vs G#. I haven't spent too much time on listening to this but I will go back. I'm bending the string most of the time that I'm playing it. So, bend a G...it's a G#. If it sounds off to you, definitely start on a G# and simply bend a half-step instead of a whole step. Perhaps I got a little too excited about bending the piss out of the string and how easy the G is to reach. I'm not in agreement with the G# yet. However, I'll go listen to it.

actually your suppose to hit G# (sharp) after hitting open E.

what are your amp/pedal effects settings?

@MullitudeDude yes, but it didn't really work out. JB Jr in the Neck, Cool Rails in the middle, and a Dirty Fingers in the bridge. The bridge is too bright and the neck and middle are too muddy. There is just no tone in this guitar. However, i used this DI into Studio Devil and created a spot on Brick In The Wall tone. And I mean spot on. Not those crappy tones people usually post. So maybe she's a keeper.

@fifauefanato looks like a lower end Ibanez SA model? Looks to have up graded pick ups single coil sized humbuckers in neck and middle. Seymour Duncan Hot/Cool rails in middle and paf/59? in neck?
If you mean the thing at 3:18, that is the scale pattern that is used for that part of the solo. Every note that you play in a song can be described as coming from a scale, even if it requires a round-about explanation. This is the pentatonic version of the scale. Pentatonic scales are the most useful scales to memorize for soloing. Memorize that scale and you'll see that all the notes in that section are found in the scale.
