the question is... why?
-
@diebydeath I highly doubt he intentionally tuned it to 430hz. I'm sure he tuned it standard. Terrible intonation problems is the most likely cause of the dissonant harmonies throughout the neck and his neck is probably a little bowed and his bridge pegs are maxed out forward and the 430hz A is the closest he could get to being the right pitch.

@justinhoman It may be that his A is tuned to 430 Hz, but his harmonic intonation still sounds off. The high notes in relation to the low notes sometimes sound like they're out of tune. I might just think that it's off because of the fuzz in the video, which sounds like dissonance sometimes, or it might be that he's tapping too hard sometimes.
Either way, the guy's very skilled, he just, you know, should tune his A to 440.

@fefaaa21 just saying.... you're dead wrong. He is playing in A minor. He just has his A tuned to 430hz not 440hz. which is a microtone between G# & A. Technically he is still in A. Theres a reason structured music exists, and you missed out on that memo.

@diebydeath You could say it like that, but there arent any keys that are in microtones in 12tone instruments. Theres a reason structured music exists. He is playing in the key of C/Am. He just has is A tuned to 430hz not 440hz. His intonation is off so the harmonies of the 6th's sounds terrible thats why.

someone buy that man another guitar

@fefaaa21 Yeah, he's playing it in the key halfway between A minor and G# minor. xD

His guitar is in tune, his intonation is just bad, get it right before you become a critic.
