Awesome memories and tearful ones, too. Saw Dave Mason in the 70's .This song was written in a note to me by my college friend/lover during our breakup in 1978. Hadn't heard the song in years "til today. Even stranger, had recently just reconnected by phone with him after 30 years. Life can sure hand out some sad stuff and take some strange turns. But as someone said "It's still a Wonderful LIfe"! Wouldn't trade any of the memories of the people who have come and gone. Cherish them all!

brings back a lot of great memories especially now after estrangement...i saw him back in 79 at stony brook university and it was a great concert with my x wife..i think we cried during the whole damned thing...miss you laura..but i know you dont miss me and cant stand me...thats fine...

I miss Laura, too... different Laura of course, here in WA state. But now, it's all just water under the bridge. We must all, like the late 90s Eagles song, GET OVER IT! This is a bit funny, this old resturanteur died and wanted an Eagles song played at his funeral. And they accidentally hit the button for "GET OVER IT!" That was too sad/funny! Way back in 1999...
