  • Molly Sudgen was a good sport for playing Mrs Slocombe, especially when it came to making those pussy jokes. In this interview Molly still looks the same, in a strange way she looks (naturally) younger. Could you imagine someone else playing Mrs Slocombe.

  • Brilliant actress... Best facial expressions on television.

  • Thanks for sharing this. And thank you Molly, for the countless times you have made me laugh and brought a smile to my face. A true, great talent. And I am unanimous in that!

  • i love watching AYBS,most nights i always like to watch something funny in the dvd player while laying in bed till i fall asleep i usually always put in one of there dvd's.so thankful my husband found the box set here in US.Mollie is the best! she always cracks me up.best thing is to laugh till you fall asleep lol.wish they were all here with us still acting.RIP to all the cast members. <3 we love you!

  • What a great and grand lady with a sweet smile and mischief in her eyes.

  • @Galavya41 Yes, sad indeed; I hadn't heard about Trevor Bannister also being gone. AYBS was a great great series, and I also liked Grace and Favour (or AYBS Again in the U.S.)...

  • Cant believe almost all of AYBS cast left us within a span of just 3-4 years ...John Inman was the first in 2007 , then Molly and Wendy said their final goodbyes in 2009 and Trever Bannister died in May 2011...the entire floor staff of Grace Brothers is no more , sometimes when I see old episodes of AYBS with Capt.Peacock discussing a store issue with all the staff on his either side , it makes me sad , makes me think of the famous song, Dust in the wind by Kansas

  • Thank you for this
