This guide is made specifically for players new to Akantor. ( HR6 Urgent Akantor )
In this video I will be demonstrating how to hammer an Akantor with minimal risk , taking into consideration the paltry armor ratings most players will have at HR6.
Special thanks goes to the people who pointed out the flaws in my previous Akantor guides and to those who requested. :]
How resistant is Akantor to the elements ?
Ice Res : +4
Water Res : +3
Fire Res : +2
Thunder Res : -1
Dragon Res : -4
Recommended hammers ( HR6 ) ~
- Ceanataur Head Axe
- Onslaught Hammer
- Wolf Torrent
- Diablos Chaos Broker
- Narga Hammer
Recommended Armor Set(s) ~
Anything that boosts damage like Ceanataur , RathSoul U and Rathalos.
High Grade Earplugs are optional.

@LEGOCommanderCustom I tried the HR6 one, and yes, You can get the Spike there. But I don't know about Aka in Nekoht. Just kill Aka in HR6 to be 100% Sure.

Dude, I gotta say, even though you haven't played MH for a long time now, This is the Best Strategy I've ever seen yet. Me and my friends have OWNED him 2-3 times, and we just STARTED. I thought them your strategies, and it helped 100%. Thanks again. I will soon get my Akantor set. Just need few Gravios BrainStrm.

this music was starngely fitting (XD) good guide but i have no idea what the acronyms meant (TP,HGE,etc)....anyway im not near hre yet so i just saved this to my faves for furture reference.....

Cool guide! Me and my friend started a new game in winter 2010 and are working to finish the Hunting together. Its been 1 month on Akantor now!
