1) Those things are actually rims from cars, when arranged properly you can turn them into brake gongs.
2) That is literally a toy piano. Meant normally to introduce children to the art of music, but some have turned it into an instrument all on its own.

Went to the European Premiere last night in Barbican Center. Really loved this song and the interpretation by Tan Duan and London Symphony Orchestra.
However, it's the idea of Internet Symphony that I am more excited about. The new ways of cooperation as well as lifestyles opened up by Internet are so hilarious. Internet is simply one of the best inventions of all times!
