Not only the germans, but especially the French, Spanish, Dutch... never really loved Lance as a person, because of his personality , but they had a lot of respect for his achievement! He always wanted the crowd to love him, but you can't force this!
Maybe his unhuman desire to be the best, and his aggressivity (coming from taking large amounts of testosterone-because he has no balls left) is one of that reasons. Enter :''Lance collision with Spectator'' , and you see what I mean
