These birds are very timid so this was filmed out of the living room rear window hence sound of ticking clock ! He/she is feasting off the seed pods of the grass trees planted a few years ago, this is the second year in a row they sprouted these large pods which eventually contain seeds.

  • wow, what a cool looking bird. We have such boring ones here in Canada. mainly dark browns and blacks is about it. lol! that one is so awesome looking.

  • Interesting subject,plant lots of native trees & you will get plenty of birds I understand the non feathered varity is interesting to
