This is a good game of Konami Company, which began to innovate with four commanders in the world of the Arcades of those times.
In this game, Raphael, the turtle with the red band is the best character in game play, believe it or not. The reason is simple: he is the fastest.

Many played with Donatello, and much thought to using that character, thinking that dominated the game, because his gun has more range, but it is tedious, boring, and cowardly, riding a very attacking from afar. These videos show what Raphael is capable to do with a high level of difficulty XD!

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - Turtles in Time, the four reptiles are balanced, none is better than another.
Personally, I do not like that game because the game play is based more on the chance that the skill. The SNES version of the console exceeds by far the arcade.
