I started running some of the electric in my new shed today. Nothing fancy, just some basic needs stuff.

  • Don't say jerry rigged. Say temporary feed. Hehe.

  • @chuckbyf1 I have to remember that. Good one! Thanks for watching.

  • You need a ground rod now that you have more then one branch circuit. Ground rods are not required if you have only one circuit in the shed.

  • @SkilledEddie Part 2 of the installation which is on my channel explains that I installed 2 ground rods outside that are bonded to the panel. Thanks for watching.

  • nice video, I look forward to see how you install the the power from the house to the shed. I'm at the same point as you.... Have the shed... but no power yet. Keep the videos coming!!

  • @CliveMN Hey thanks. Finally got around to uploading an update. Good luck with your install. Thanks for watching...zim

  • FAIL.....Your sub panel requires a "main disconnect" also and ground rods. Individual branch ckt breakers do not satisfy the NEC requirements for out building. Make a video when you correct ed your violations and have an electrical inspection sticker
