sgtpeperr, If sanity were subjective, why do people even bother keeping prisons. Not everything in the world is about "sensations", boo. There are actually such things as elements, which I think people like to ignore for they want to be aaaaah!! IDEALISTICCCCC. it's a fucking cult.

It makes perfect sense if you remember that during the middle ages in Europe folks would think that cats were demons, and would kill them by the thousands, thereby allowing rats to proliferate and maximizing the spread of Black Plague (1348 to about mid 1600s). If they were a population of folks which had just begun to be affected by Toxoplasmosis they would have been hit hard, and the hallucinations they had involved cats. But the cats were not benefitted, so the toxo organism was limited

The small minority of the people that aren't immune however, are subjected to humiliating, dehabiliating and progressive symptoms--At first diarrhea/constipation on and off,--and depending on the person's immune system--, then onto the kidneys leading to general weakness&convulsions, onto cause heart and lung aches due to inflammation as they reach their final destination in the brain where they go onto cause, mood and personality changes, muscle spasms and headaches, and maybe evenSchizophrenia

Most people are immune to toxoplasmosis which is normally an insignificant illness of a few days duration. It's also hard for humans to catch, the most like source being undercooked meat. All mammals can carry it, not just cats. Pregnant women should be tested for immunity and not change litter because infection during pregnancy can affect the feotus. Otherwise it's harmless.
