In the village of Shatova (Gornestai), in the western outskirts of Vladivostok, Russia, old Czarist structures mark the former Canadian barracks of the Siberian Expeditionary Force in 1918-1919.

  • I learned this just last week actually in my history class that the Canadians were in russia. I guess only in acedemic classes they tell you this. I'm not sure what kind of history you learned (Applied/acedemic) but not to many Canadians know this. I was one of those Canadians who never knew that.
