@MritalkApple Plex is a free software that can be obtained by following the link i posted in the description.
I'm streaming my movies from my external hard drive, they are my personal movie rips. You can buy movies on itunes and stream them through plex if you would like.
This software should be available everywhere, only thing that is limited outside of the U.S. is you won't be able to use, all or some of the "channels" that they have. You can however use it for your own movies.

Does Plex Cost Money?
The movies that are on plex are they streamed from iTunes on the Mac through your External Hard Drive or do you just store them on the Hard Drive?
Do you only buy your movies from iTunes?
Is this only availible in the US?

You do however get the BBC stream on plex which gives you TOP GEAR!!! I don't know if you're into that show, but its a great show from the UK and that is one thing that i'm jealous of! we don't get that here in the states =(

Thats unfortunate. Plex is still great to use without the streams though. The main reason i use plex is for my local media that i have stored on my HDD, like my digital rips. The streaming apps are just a bonus. Front row allows you to use all your media from your itunes library, and it is restricted to that, that is why i am not very fond of it.

im using front row only because im in the UK and even plex cant stream it here in the UK which sucks, but mac mini is really an awesome bit of kit for work and media i find!

Man that setup looks nice and tidy! Stuff looks nice and vivid on that display you have. Also, the Plex UI looks sliiiick! All of the high-res movie posters stand out nicely with that UI. HAHAHA I got freaked out @ 5:14
Seriously though it's great that you now have something to complement your huge media library. Now you can just walk in, sit and relax while you easily look for something to play. Instead of having to connect the macbook and all that. plus you have a desktop now!
