Piano Roll in 3D space

Not quite Animusic, more like Musanim. This began as a simple demonstration of an FM piano synth I wrote but it became equally about the visuals as I tried my hand at generating a 3D representation of the music in Blender by leveraging its Python API. I'm new to Blender (and 3D modelling in general) so forgive the lack of adornment. The music is a MIDI file I recorded a few years ago.

Thanks. It started out as a real-time OpenGL visualisation, so that sort of integration is possible, I may do some experimenting with that.
