Very nice! Darn lot of work you did!

wow nice layout

Nevermind....You answered my question in the video....Have you tried the NWSL re-gear kits? I've heard they quiet them down a little. The other thing is that you're running them VERY fast. I run mine at about a 1/3rd throttle or 1/2 TOPS. The level of noise is acceptable to me at that speed. I wouldn't run those as fast as you are.

and at 3:21 that sure as hell sounds like an MDC shay...lol the good ol' coffee grinder gearbox.
-
at 3:07 is that an MDC/Roundhouse 2 Truck Shay? on the Turntable?

How do you have other locomotives on the tracks and not receiving power to move... becusae at 3:57 you have a silver looking steam engine and its not moving can you explain that?

There is no power to that track. I can turn the power on and off to side tracks with an on and off switch.

I have about 8 layouts. If you have watched all my videos you've seen all of them. Thanks for the comments.

i am new to the ho scale train scene, and i have been wonderin where would be the best place to get locomotives, and cars and scenery for the best possible price??? please help

The best place is a railroad swap meet if you can find one in your area. Check with a hobby shop. Ebay is also a good place. Look for things being sold in 'lots'.
