@JamesN520 LOL, I never heard of this sneaky method of measuring flight time by cruising altitude only until just now but always thought flight time was measured when the aircraft was at least an inch off the ground LOL but using these definitions I really enjoyed your 28 min. flight from LAS to LAX at cruise altitude or your 42 min. flight using the traditional method of time the aircraft is airborne or the 58 min. flight grand total time including taxi time on the ground.

Ha. Ha . The westerlies can't save you this time since you are going against the wind for that 30 minutes. Recall that we both agreed a 30 minute flight is air time only and excludes taxiing time and the prevailing westerly winds at cruising altitude made a possible 30 minute trip from John Wayne Airport to Las Vegas under ideal wind conditions. Here 30 minutes seems too fast because you are going against the wind. Sorry, commentator has to be a meteorologist LOL. An enjoyable 42 min.flight.

@NICENAD Remember I also mentioned I don't include take-off time or approach time.

@X45652 Yes it did but the recording software didn't have the option for recording sound.
