After 6 hours of working on the bike, adjusting throttle, clutch, battery, etc., I get my Wilson up and running for the first time!

Update: I no longer own the bike. I had a bad teacher who made me to afraid to ride. I have no idea what size the tires were or any other mechanical issues about the bike. Those tires were brand new, but that is not my forté.

And I happen to *love* the vintage look of the sissy bar. ;)

  • You could use a couple of riding lessons!

  • Yeah. My teacher wasn't very good. "How do I know when to shift gears? How do I make a sudden stop?"

    "OHHHHH. You'll find out!"

Scared the crap out of me, and I sold the bike.

  • how much?

  • $1100 it came out to, I think. Mostly for the new tires.

  • everyone starts somewhere, but in my opinion this bike needs a drastic coolness overhall aha, for starters id rip that sissy bar off there in a second and stick some club man handlebars on. good video :) five stars aha.

  • Nah, man. I'm total vintage. Everything must be vintage. The couch. The guitar. And yes, the motorcycle. ;)

  • That's a pity, but basically it's just that way: you shift gears when you feel you must do it, when the engine "screams"

  • motorcycles are bad very bad so dont do girl ,go to church instead and yuo forget bad motorbikers , they want only to sniff ur panties

  • i would love to ride her alittle long then that.. and the bike to !!

  • I took my test back in January of this year, I never had any professional training. I just jumped on, got to grips with things like clutch and gears (which wasn't hard considering I have and always have had a manual car). And 6 months later I applied for the test and now I plan to get my GPZ500 on the road, and selling my CG125.

  • facepalm*

  • is that the cb250 of 90's behind ? :)

  • Im thinking about getting one of these, how are they?

  • your teacher sucks for not making you wear a jacket and gloves before you even sat on the bike. otherwise..not too bad

  • its ok to be scurred.

  • You poor thing. No one should learn to ride from a friend or relative. Seek out a professional (usually ABATE). My ex-wife refused to take the course unless I did. It turned out to be the best money I ever spent on the sport!

And PLEASE (I know - you have given up), put some protective gear on that beautiful skin of yours!!!
