Gullies were 3 points behind Munno Para in Division 5 with the pair clashing on the last day of the 2004 season, the Gullies needed to win to win the league on goal difference. The gullies went 1-0 down early on but fought back to win 2-1 with goals from Chris Bruce and Daniel Smail to win their first league title in over 20 years and to start the climb up the leagues to the 2nd division in consectitive years.
