  • A cog set up would be kick ass, but why would I throw 2k on pulleys when I have no belt slip as it is? I'll eventually run a 10rib belt when I have a custom pulley made for the HD tensioner. If I wanted to build a TRACK truck I sure as hell wouldn't have started with an extra cab, and I would have gone with twins.... No matter what anyone builds there's always something better and faster somewhere else

  • You're running a 10 rib pulley with an 8 rib belt? Why not run a cog belt? Way more badass IMO. Sick ass truck tho.

  • Ive broken a few of those tensioners on my 01, pretty easy to do is you hit high rpms pretty frequently

  • The belt drive system that runs the AC, ALT, Power steering pump, water pump and is driven off of the crank damper, and to make this belt super tight so it doesnt slip, you use a tensioner, so if the engine ramps up fast, i.e. TQ/HP you can break parts, usually your belt will slip before this happens, but I have so much wrap around my S/C pulley, nothing is slipping! PLus it is a 10 rib set up, but currently running 8 ribs...
