some catfishing on ohio river in trailwaters of markland dam. i caught a gar and channel cat Pm me for reviews on fishing gear. my bait was cut skipjack on a 4/0 circle hook.

Doesn't look like there is any current at all that DAY! I fish around that spot from the bank and a boat and I'm throwing 4-6 ounce lead or more to keep my bait on the bottom. Everytime I've been there they at least had the turbine discharge pumping on that side. Keeps those f@&#king gar off more! Hate those things.

eagle claw circle hook I think size 3, knight crawler, two 1ounce sinkers, fishing about 40ft off the bank. It was around 1am.
