  • hey dude nice playing... i have the rp500 and a telecaster j5... what setting are you using? because mine sounds too bright and i dont like it.... give some advise please... i try reducing the treble and middle from rp500 but nothing works for me

    It depemds on many things... I haven't tried the J5 tele, but I'm pretty sure the EQ on teh RP can help you out on that one...

    for this recording I used an Yngwie Malmsteem sort of, distortion. Great for leads!

    (Hiwatt Amp model with a DS-1 in front) I can't remember the specifics, but in general you should tame your tone with a Compressor and the EQ, try to scoop the High Frequecies and the High Level, see if it works and hit me back. Cheers!
