No, it's supposed to make you think about what newspapers are doing to attract new customers (or not do, rather).
This was a silent movie parody by somebody who actually watched silent movies. Loved the long periods of speaking before the tilte card appears. Very accurate.
Cute but if this is supposed to convince me to subscribe to a newspaper, it made them look even more obsolete. Let's save the Canadian forests and find a way to support reporters and cartoonists online.
