Back in 2004 my parents bought a house in the outerbanks of north carolina, since then, i had grown up there, learned so many things. Fishing was a major part of when i was down there, i made it my second home, but in 2007 my parents decided to turn their backs on what a treasure we had and sell the house, i hate them for it, i miss it everyday, even the beachhouse in New Jersey doesnt even help, this is truly a major source of sadness in my life, this slideshow shows the memories i have gained over these last 3 years,

Rockingham NC is my happy place. I tear up everytime I here Taylor sing it.

the NJ house is probably worth more financially (depending where it is)......But the southern beaches are much nicer and cleaner....and you don't have to pay to use them. I lived in both places..northwest nj in small town,which I loved for raising my kids...but then the overbuilding started..but the beaches in NC, SC, (never been to GA's), and FL are much better.They do a lot of filming at the NC & SC beaches...Weekend at Bernie's, Forrest Gump, Summer Catch, Dawson's Creek,.just to name a few.

I studied in NC and now I'm in CO and go to back to NC everyday in my mind. I miss NC!

Jeez you guys are judgemental. I'm surprised you're able to see the ungratefulness through the 2X4 that's sticking out of your eye. Of course, I'm lucky enough to have been born and raised on the NC coast so what do I know...Come back some day, there is no place like it.

Hating your parents becuase they got you a new vacation house when most people never have ONE or can afford a vacation let alone their own little personal vacaction home. Get over it and thank your parents for your amazing life that they payed for. Your ungratefullness and obliviousness to how fortunate you are was able to piss me off even while the most mellow of all songs was playing. Nobody feels sory 4 u
