With the release of the Tilting Voyager upgrade not only are you able to drive a Voyager that actually tilts around curves but you will also experience a new level of authenticity with the all-new night lighting. Gone are the days of a near-ink black drivers cab where you could hardly see the controls and switches to operate them and driving at night was frankly not that easy and your long suffering passengers were transported through the night in total darkness!
Now in both RailWorks and Rail Simulator Just Trains have uniquely developed and introduced a very subtle but effective level of overall illumination to the drivers cab that is not so intrusive to be unrealistic but set at a realistic level along the same level as if you were driving your own car at night, not so bright but bright enough for you to be able to see the switches and controls to be able to operate them. Of course the actual gauges like the speedometer, for example, are backlit and switchable on and off illumination-wise. This upgrade now really does make driving at night a much more realistic, pleasant and easier experience.
In the passenger cabin where before there was total darkness now there is light! Your passengers will now be able to sit back, relax and read their paperbacks, work on their netbook or simply drink their hot chocolate without sticking their fingers in the drink and getting burnt by mistake as they could not see where the cup was!
The new night lighting from Just Trains A new level of experience for you when driving at night.
I like the carriage lighting, but the cab is supposed to be dark.

I assume that the cab lighting will be able to be toggled by a switch in the cab, since, as v390 said, the cab is supposed to be dark.
