05_09 Where I am

Its been a long time. I've been working and teaching, finishing up my Junior Year at WM, and preparing for the Trip I'm on right now. 5 students + Professor in Japan studying Foodways (Anthropologically) in Japan. Personally, my topic under the umbrella is Japanese Youth Culture via Digital communication (keitai, forums, etc.) etc. For a month we're interviewing people and companies, and working on our Ethnographic research.

Actually not so much! Be aware that Osaka is not very foreigner-friendly right now because it was hit worst with swine flu, and they think all foreigners have it. You should go to MinatoMirai in Yokohama... or just plain old Harajuku is always awesome!

Haha, thanks! Yeah i:ve been before about 4 years ago but its nice to stay for a while and just relax and do all this once-in-a-lifetime sorta stuff =).

lol I left Japan in August. But I was there for a good year mate. I really loved it. Especially Beppu.. Missing my days when I would hang out at 68 :(

Sugoi desu yo! Your Japanese is great. I hope you get to go to Japan and live. I'm sure that's what you want to do. I studied Japanese for 2 semesters in school. I usually just watch anime, movies or listen to people on youtube from Japan. It really helps with listening comprehension. That is my worse area.
