  • @MrDefender101 if you would like to know the true purpose of the Anzacs invlovement at Beersheba, it was because they were used by the divine hand to drive the Turks out of Israel to help the Jews become re-established in their own land. Consider the lesson of Genesis 12:3, those that bless and help Israel (in the right way) will also be blessed, and those that curse Israel shall be cursed. Australia has been a wonderfly blessed country for many years. Pity many Aussie's dont understand that

  • God Bless Our Fallen who faught that WE might be free

  • @talpore They were not mounted Infantry but Mounted Rifles. Mounted Rifles are a form of simplified cavalry. It is important to remember that cavarly since the mid-1800s used firearms. The difference is important, technically they always had the option to perform charges but the cost of training them with swords was too great. The ALH were always intended as a cavalry force by the LIght Horse establishment, including Chavaul. Later the ALH receive swords to clarify this confusion.

  • Largest and best looking herd of Bay horses that I've seen.

  • @ironedge100 the plan was brillint they were expecting them to dismount as they are mounted infantry and come in on foot they got a head start .they would have been shelled all the way.as the german office orders them to hold fire till they dismount.did not help them much against rifles and the machine guns though.

  • im doing my newspaper feature article on the charge of beersheba lost of hard work that sooooo much research but my hat off to you men of the 4h light horde brigade
