Legolas Elf known as Laiqualassë இڿڰۣ-ڰۣ—

Legolas (pronounced ) is a character in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium, featured in The Lord of the Rings. He is an Elf from the Woodland Realm and one of nine members of the Fellowship of the Ring.

Legolas was the son of Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm of Northern Mirkwood, who appears as "the Elvenking" in The Hobbit. Thranduil ruled over the Silvan Elves of the wood. Although he lived among them, was exposed to their customs, and (it may be inferred) considered himself one of them, Legolas was strictly not one of the Silvan Elves (Wood-elves). His father Thranduil had originally come from Lindon; he and his son were actually Sindar, or "Grey Elves", called in the singular Sinda: "Sindarin" was their language. A small minority of Sindar ruled the predominantly Silvan Woodland Realm, and Thranduil headed them.

I just adore the silvan or wood and sindarin or grey elves and legolas as one who i consider both really i think he would have considered himself both well mainly wood for sure haha but of course is aware of his blood so would acknowledge that part of him too. he's so wonderful. thanks for this, loved the commentary from you, the music, and the scenes. growing up reading the books i had a crush on legolas and looked up to him way before people were oogling over orlando bloom.

@yoginipeacelove Wow, So glad you enjoyed this video,yes he lived among the Silvan Elves I've heard, Legolas was strictly not one himself. But a very interesting magnificent elf character indeed. So the birthdate for Legolas is set to 87 of the Third Age So this would make him 2931 years old at the time of the War of the Ring. That was intriguing. You really are a legolas fan!
