@ihatestudentdrivers Perhaps so, no doubt. But my comment is really aimed at folks who quite simply didn't understand the story, or even that there was one there. For the many commenters who suggested that having watched the movie was a waste of 8 minutes of their lives - I highly doubt that those 8 minutes would have otherwise been spent doing anything equally as useful or enriching.

@lunarparcel Is it boring? No. Is it a waste of time? No. In terms of atmosphere, costume, lighting (pretty much all the visual aspects of the film) it's great.
However, it *is* pretty stupid from the perspective of story and ballistics.
tl;dr: Pretty pictures, nothing more.

as a film enthusiast and amateur filmmaker, i am offended by those who call this a "gem" or "art". yes, it is beautifully filmed with nice sequencing, character, shots, and mise en scene, however all of that means nothing without a solid, compelling plot, which the absolutely does not have. im sorry if that is offensive, but this is not a "gem".
