Those who want the war most and who profit from it most should fork out for it. Many of the profiteers in the Pentagon are not paying their fair share. Tax them and tax them hard.
There is alot of talk of "sacrifice" but I see the people at the top, especially in Corporate America, not pulling their weight.

If we impose a different kind of tax on the rich--a draft on the children of those making say a half million and up--we will be out of Afghanistan tomorrow.

A draft would give the lives of young Americans completely into the hands of the political class. You think this is a good idea? It worked so well in Vietnam. 58,000+ dead or missing, for what?
