  • Excellent footage of one of my heroes!

  • yep your soo right firiend:) i have beter version of doug henning doing this on hios NBC the magic of doug hennings world of magic NBC specials helets a cool boy exzamined the mirror ps jim styen myier invented this cool illusion for doug henning and later on cool david seth kotkin uses it but change it alittle and princess tenko uses it too

  • The problem is with the video. What the tv camera is NOT showing is that you can actually SEE the mirror as he walks through it. In person this was a very cool illusion. The tv cameras make everything look black! So you can even see the mirror. Too bad.

  • @Mannyo48 I've heard this story several times before, your not the only one.

  • Pretty good I must say, although I don't really care for his style. This illusion may have been cooler with better presentation and a little less schmaltz, but then again thats what made Doug Henning so lovable in the first place. He certainly influenced a lot of magicians to take up the art.

  • Who wants a mustache ride?

  • I had met Doug Henning backstage years ago, a true and humble gentleman. Worked a show where David Copperfield performed, what an arrogant, self-centered snob, seems only friendly when on camera.

  • Where's the illusion? This sucks.

  • that has to be truly, without question, the single lamest "illusion" ever performed on television
