TIME WARNER SUCKS!
If you live in Rochester, NY, Austin or San Antonio, TX, or Greensboro, NC, your broadband access from TWC is about to be capped. The company is expanding its trial run from Beaumont, TX to these additional four cities, where TWC broadband customers will have to choose one of the company's tiers of service—anywhere from 5GB to 40GB per month.

Time Warner has no competition in these areas.

This also includes other items that access the internet that arent computers like your TIVO, Wii, PS3, PSP, XBOX, Apple TV.

New Costs:
5 gigabytes for $29.99
10 gigabytes for $39.99
20 gigabytes for $49.99
40 gigabytes for $54.90
100 gigabytes for $115.00
All prices are estimates. Customers will have to monitor their usage up to the minute online Overages will cost $1 per gigabyte.

Good news. Time Warner backed out on the decision to implement these price caps due to consumer backlash. Keep spreading the word. We need to make sure these assholes have no chance of getting such policies through.

Time Warner absolutely sucks! I wish to God I had my Adelphia back. The only thing the switch gained me is a higher bill and a slightly higher down bandwidth, upload speeds went to hell.

well we have talked about doing this for a long time. i work for twc, but the problem is some people are just whores and they want to use as much bandwidth as possible and then some. blame them. i get it for free so i dont care.
