Join National Geographic's Lisa Ling as she captures a rare look inside North Korea - something few Americans have ever been able to do. Posing as an undercover medical coordinator and closely guarded throughout her trip, Lisa moves inside the most isolated nation in the world, encountering a society completely dominated by government and dictatorship. Glimpse life inside North Korea as you've never seen before with personal accounts and powerful footage. Witness first-hand efforts by humanitarians and the challenges they face from the rogue regime.

  • Did any of those people bother to thank the doctor? I think he did a lot more than fat little fucker kim jong il to restore their sight.

  • poor brainwashed people, they are really messed up in the head

  • My faith is real. And It is in Jesus my savior. My God is all powerful, and in Him you will find no wrong.

  • I didn't know Jesus was Korean

  • @ndgh209 Though it's not outlawed... Instead of the "great general", people here just thank some "great god." Brainwashing is brainwashing and its disgusting all around.

  • @ben9345 Well whatever you said to me doesn't match anything that I just commented so you just wasted your whole time telling me something that I already know!

  • @elizabeso08 Read my comment again. I never said they should praise your god. But if your praying, who are you praying too? I think its a reasonable assumption to assume that it was to your god. Your god is just as powerless to help these people as Kim Jong Il is to cure people's eyesight but people assume that because its their god its different. Its called Special Pleading and its a logical fallacy. If you really think your prayer is different from their prayer to Kim Jong Il then test it.

  • @ben9345 Who said anything that I asked them to praise my God--I didn't even mention God--I just want their people who are in poverty to be liberated--and so I'm praying--what is so sad about that?

  • This video is a perfect example of the futility and stupidity of thanking people that aren't involved...Yet, there are so many comments thanking the sky wizard. I feel pity for the North Koreans and AmuriKKKans alike =/.
