I grew up watching Mr. Winters in the early 60's...Always made me cackle but, I do recall these soft moments of a deeper place. He has such a way of sharing simple poignancy.

I remember when I was a kid I could turn on the TV and no one had to monitor what came on. Because it would be this guy, or Carol Burnett, or the Cos. No foul language, nothing for kid to fear. Just constant laughter.

I'm an 80's baby, but people like Jonathan Winters are priceless. He was wonderful by himself. When he was with Robin Williams they were priceless.
