hybrid cars mean that the auto/oil industries can continue to exploit the earth's supply of oil for longer. at the end of the day, when all the oil has been used up, we'll still be in the same situation, except maybe instead of our grandchildren, it will be their grandchildren who are left to deal with the mess.

Celebs jabbering about causes inspire me to head out for a long drive in my pickup truck, blasting Buck Owens and the Buckaroos. i like to stop for a big juicy double burger preferably with beef raised on pasture that was once unproductive rain forest. Then I wash it down with coffee made from child slave coffee beans.

@richardbrenkley Yes. Plus it's much more environment friendly to keep your old car or buy used cars keeping them running on the road than produce new cars of any kind. But they wat us to keep buying new cars every 3 years and be a throwaway society to make money.

i do like Pelenope but here she comes off as not very intelectual the way she talks. As for global warming (lol) the East Coast is suffering the most snow for 90 years check the news. Here in the UK we've had lots of snow too, it's freezing outside and slippery icy.
