  • This will horrify you. Before i knew all the Breyer Moulds off by heart (Well Im almost there!), i picked up two old ratty toy horses at st vinnies. one was so brittle its tail broke off as it got put in the bag. It wasnt until months later that i realised I'd given 2 vintage breyers to then toddler Paige to play with, and she'd destroyed them. Everytime i see that model like on Ebay i cringe. Luckily there was one the kids never got, a Galiceno that i paid $1 for from st vinnies.

  • @AmadeoBaby Hahahaha what a score!! Oh dear that's the thing about not knowing something's worth!! Oh well @ least you saved one of them. XD

  • Your models are taking over the house too! Hehehe.. Until i moved them all, i had breyers everywhere including in the kitchen, and when i was really stuck for storage places, i had a few living next to the coffee and sugar canisters in the cupboard hahaha my friends think i'm crazy.

  • @AmadeoBaby Bahahahaha yeah they do tend to take over the house!! I need a proper display cabinet for my babies, especially the resins as they are soooooo precious to me. Do you have trouble with your kids trying to touch them all the time? XD

  • My kids have been told that 'Mums Breyers' are really really special, and i let them hold a stablemate now and then, and they get this look of awe on their faces and are really careful, but the youngest one is too little to understand and if he got hold of them he'd happily snap off legs and tails i'm sure of it. i know my kids are still too young to have them because the poor barbie horses have broken legs, but i hope i can get them interested in collecting when they are older.
