  • You remember the ancient Ismaning 110m-broadcasting-tower disrupted in 1978? A pretty formidable wooden construction, made out of pitch pine (pinus rigida) imported somewere from NW-America. This is also sad - nearly no documentation about it!

(Pinus Rigida today belongs to IUCN 2007 Red List of Threatened Species)

  • I have only seen an old photograph or two of the old wood tower. It was long gone before my first posting to Ismaning back in 1989.

  • Great! You made sad pictures looking like an action movie. Awesome! Johnson Imagineering goes to Hollywood.

You know that the world now waits for the second edition - the reverse action at your place!!! (:>)

  • Very entertaining! Good job on the documentary. Usually they're stale and boring. You show that a little humor goes a long way. Thumbs up!
