Hand Painted T-shirt

This is a hand painted t-shirt i did for my wife. working on this was a lot more fun then i thought it would be.
For this project i used acrylic paint and GAC 900 Fabric Painting Medium. The GAC 900 is mixed in with the acrylic paint so that i can iron the the painted area to cure the paint into the threads of the shirt, making the design last much longer.
I might make some more. Leave a comment and let me know what you think, and what kind of stuff you would like to see done on a shirt next.

@sxetch why do you use acrylic paint and also fabric? Can't one just use fabric paint alone? Ive no idea.

a couple questions. what kind of brush do you use to make the clean outlines? and how long do you wait after painting before you iron it?

is it washable after ironing? I'm a little scared the paint will come off.

very nice job, great video. I liked the speed up at the end. The use of the white in the beginning?....is that for coverage when you started to color in?

@lindamaynot , Yes, when ever i am painting on a shirt that is pretty dark, I use white so that the colors that i lay down stand out. I am glad that you like the video. There will be more soon.

WHAT HAPPENES IF YOU DONT USE A FABRIC PAINT MEDIUM

@BARBIEMA81 If you do not use the paint medium, the paint will begin to crack and peel right after washing. The Medium also helps cure the paint into the fabric when you iron it.
