The funny thing, is that you hear all his jewerly move when he's playing. Yngwie is the best by the way!
-
Slowly my ass!

@Hypnus9 I dislike progressive, I'd rather metal stayed true to its roots, and I think it'll survive just fine. Maybe not in mainstream, but who cares?
-
I will say one thing for Yngwie: He is the epitomal heavy metal guitarist. But also will I say this: heavy metal is in dire need of critique and revision. There are more musical and complex, and beautifully so, genres. Heavy metal, in my opinion, is quite passe and cheap. If it is ever to survive, there must be new life breathed into it. Personally, I prefer Tosin Abasi and progressive metal, where the metal genre is concerned.

What is Yngwie doing? Just mere purporting how fast he can play, or exemplifying the melodic and harmonic content of what he is hoping to say? I think the former in lieu of the latter.
-
Does he ever miss a note.?.NO!
-
Ok, he can play fast. But can he play good?

I like this post, it's one of his best 'all out shred' demonstrations. (why I favourited it).
