@KerrDogga Kaioken from what I understand multiplies your power but doesn't increase your body's ability to withstand it. Goku had it bad enough with a 4x Kaioken against Vegeta (Yajirobie slapped his arm and Goku shrieked in pain). Multiplying a Super Saiyan's power would probably have caused him to explode. But when he's dead, he's a lot more durable.

@Atillatzke Fourthly, in DBGT, his body after Emperor Pilaf wishes him to a child size he can't use SSJ3; SS4 is stronnger- why would he need to use it otherwise?

As for the KaioKen, the last time he used it (if we're talking entire DBZ-verse) was during the battle with Turles. Gohan was about 5 or 6 at the time; at least 5 years had passed without him needing to use that ability. Besides, Kaio Ken makes you uber prone to damage the more you use it.

In the Other World, energy is consumed at a less rapid rate.

Secondly, the animators have to make the fight look dramatic and awesome. Super Saiyan Goku could have jacked up Frieza right then and there. But he didn't; he wanted him to go full power. Super Vegeta could have killed SemiPerfect Cell right then and there. But he didn't for the same reason.

Thirdly, during DBZ, SSJ3 puts a huge strain on his body; he almost dies using it.

afte he knows how to go ssj3 he never uses. mainly ssj1 and sometimes ssj2, instead of instant turning ssj2. (or ssj3).

and also when he can use super-kaioken, i always thought it was unpossible (because if its possible he would use it i thought) since i watched that episode, why he never use it? i mean, it just can be effective in some situations, or not?

@AnimeMaster695 No, there was no manga of GT, and Toiami never planned on any of that, it was just non-cannon because Dragonball was making a lot of money and Fuji wanted to keep it going.

@XxxSakura101 technically Dragon Ball Z ended when Buu was defeated and SS4 is real you are just denying it because you think GT was a load of crap the only good thing in it is Goku SS4 and Vegeta SS4 and of course Gogeta SS4.
