[Tut] how to fix internet explorer "cannot display the webpage" error

is this happening to you?

this is a very easy and simple fix.

when you try to use internet explorer you
get a message saying

The adress is not valid
or
internet explorer cannot display the webpage

when you run the diagnose connection problems
nothing seems to work so im here to fix it for you.

all you need to do is go to

internet explorer

tools

internet options

connetions

lan settings

and uncheck use proxy server

@MsOrangesmarties maybe when you go into your internet options something is messed up auto detect should be checked for that part but you might need to redo your drivers. If you have another computer you can download the drivers from the driver website by looking up your computer.
