Whenever I watch this movie, I have to put a sign on the basement door that says, "WATCHING 'STRIPES' DO NOT ENTER UNLESS THERE'S A FIRE OR PATRICK SWAYZE CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!" That's a fact, Jack!

An absolute genius of a theme by Elmer Bernstein for a fantastic 80s film. They don't make themes or movies like this anymore :(
