Roland Burrow worked as a wellfield operator for Uranium Resources, Inc., outside Kingsville a decade ago. He objected to the way things were being run, tried unsuccessfully to get the TNRCC and FBI involved, and was fired. He moved a couple counties over, but now a URI offshoot wants to mine in his backyard, and he's decided to fight.

  • Its allllll money! no about health anymore money money money

  • Mining companies file bankruptsy so they don't have to clean up the mine site.

  • I saw a water report here in kingsville that said it contained flouride, arsenic, and lead among other things.

  • If they mined the Uranium out then there should be no radiation in the water.

  • How about a bet?

Can this guy find enough radiation in the hills to make a profitable plant, or is there a serious lack?

  • Mr. Burrow also tells me that the ground fabric of Kingsville is much different than that of Goliad County. In other words, mining could be done safely and responsibly in Kingsville but not in Goliad, not even if they tried to do it correctly.

Victoria, this is coming your way so you better put your seatbelt on. It's going to be a rough flight!

  • Great video, This guy has no scare!!!
