Baby red squirrel 4 weeks

At a little over 4 weeks old, the baby red squirrel's eyes have opened and she has a good coat of fur. She still spends most of her time sleeping and eating, but is beginning to get a little more active and steady on her feet. The squirrel was found when she was only 2 weeks old, curled up in the middle of a trampoline, very cold and nearly dead. She will be cared for by a licensed rehabilitator and released back into the wild when she is old enough.

ok thank you. but do you know who can have a red baby squirrel? because i want adopt one and give him a good life.. here in florida are only gray squirrels

I'm afraid I don't know of any. You might want to consider a sugar glider instead? They are captive bred and a lot easier to obtain (and legal, as far as I know, although Florida may have different rules).

Sorry, I do wildlife rehabilitation, so all of the babies are released back into the wild when they are old enough.

That's so sweet. I love squirrels :) I used to have one I tried to rehab but he died a few days before he was released

i know sugar glider but i dont want have that i would like have red squirrel. if somebody see this and know who have a red baby. email me please
