I never liked this old geezer. He's too slimy & they had nothing in common. I also hated that burger guy, soooo gross
Aiden should have been the one she marries. He loved her soo much & is a great person. Mr.Big loved her, but hurt her just as much.

This scene is ironic, after having watched the first Sex and the City movie. Remember when Carrie and Big are sitting up in bed after they've moved in together? And Carrie is reading a vintage/used book or one that she took out of the library and the book is full of old romantic love letters written by historical figures? She's absolutely enfatuated with the book and here w/ the russian she can't stand listening to a romantic poem.

I would feel uncomfortable too.

this scene is hilarious....SJP always captures Carrie being uncomfortable perfectly--and hilariously LOL

Petrovsky is nasty, god, even Big is better looking than that, and he's pretty ugly too .. Carrie should've just stuck with Aidan!
And Petrovsky just wanted to trap her, he was a fake asshole that hit her!! So sorry to those that think this creepy old fucker is actually romantic and handsome!
Get some glasses! Yuck!!!

I love carrie
She's so unappreciative... I would love to find a sophisticated & romantic man like that.

Actually he was a complete utter ass hole to her. He wined and dined her, read the poems, and bought the music that he knew would make her just so comfortable enough to move away with him.
Once she does. He drops her and treats her like crap! like they had met 3 days ago!
didn't like him at all! ew ew ew
