  • As much as I appreciate your last comment "Dont drink and drive".. of course if you are going to take a shot right before providing a breath sample roadside you will have mouth alcohol residue which will give a reading WAY too high. This is why police officers always ask when the driver had his last drink, and will wait a minimum of 15 minutes after the last drink to get a breath sample. It is proven that the deep lung air is extremely accurate to measure blood alcohol.
