sumpah means oath..
oath as MP is oath to protect the people.
In Islam, those who falsely accused others of crime have to bring evidence, there is no need for the victim to take oath.
Koran is not for the purpose of taking oath for that kind of purpose..

Now tat Anwar have won the by election, hope he will practice what he said and not just make use of the chinese and indian voters and to achieve his own aim and forget about them. They will abandon him if he do.

If swearing can proved one's innocence, then we can do away with the courts or better still asked the prisoners or suspects to swear their innocence & release them if they do. We can even do away with lie detectors. Swearing will do.

bcoz dear my friend. he dont need to swear for something he hasnt done. if he does, he's stupid for responding. the right of sumpah is on saiful side. not his. in this case he dont need to swear bcause he is the accused one.
