China: 60th Anniversary of Founding of Modern State

As China marks the 60th anniversary (October 1st) of the communist state, it celebrates the realization of some significant goals, such as improved living standards for many of the country's more than one billion people. But challenges remain, such as the Chinese Communists' early vision of democracy. Stephanie Ho reports from Beijing.

Calm down, my friend; everyone knows religion is merely a tool for the elites to use to control the masses. In this case, they want Chinese to follow western religions or any religion/cult supported and approved by the west all for the reason to control Chinese.

@russiangymfan my parents are Christians and we are Chinese. If you give people a chance they will believe it. It's just that some missionary in the 1800s went to China to gain money for their imperial countries and that caused years of suffrage for the Chinese people, so many Chinese see religion as a bad thing. they don't want history to repeat. It's very understandable.

do you know why west wants to promote democracy? tell me russiangymfan i think you and me all know that it is much easier to control a country that has a weak government compare to a strong government. Western Capitalism want to control and enslave the world, the only thing in the way is strong foreign government, so they need to do everything possible to cause instability and cause mass riot so they can DIVIDE AND CONQUER.
