Sound Design plays an integral part in the technical framework of the game. It was George Lucas who said: "sound is half the experience". This was the MUD audio team's mantra as we set about providing the most complete and satisfying sound design possible. Just like for the graphics, before starting work on sound production an intense phase of pre-production was embarked upon. All the different departments working on the game worked together to determine the game's overall style: we analysed references from a variety of media, including the most recent video games set in the world of motocross....

Sounds in Reflex were synthesized and you're right, they were pretty bad. Alive's were very good. Hopefully they will have two strokes in the game, 250's and 125's. 500's would be great!

Hopefully using the dyno turns out better than mx vs atv reflex sounds.
For alive they put mics on real bikes and road them. And the sounds are better than all the other mx games.
